I used to have a problem when using a seeded search, whereby I would go to add a recommendation to my genre playlist only to find I already have it, but thanks to another Redditor's suggestion, I now have my genre playlists (but not the seeded search ones) in download mode, so the "downloaded" symbol will appear beside any recommended tracks that I already have in any of my playlists, so I can skip those ones. ![]() This usually results in quite a different set of recommendations than before. Pinnochio 9.4 as well,these songs remind me of each other bcs of the familar retro sound and the percussion but Pimnochio is also in line with i expect from Taemin Blind is 10 and way ahead of its time,it has that retro synthy sound that became really big in kpop last year,still love Igoholic the most from PLT but i like the more vocal. If the recommendations start to go stale, I remove all the tracks from the seeded search playlist and repopulate it with a fresh set of tracks from the genre playlist. Since Spotify now only has a few example tracks on which to base its recommendations, they tend to be better targeted than when it's working off a huge playlist. ![]() I then use Spotify's recommendations - for the seeded search playlist - but any new tracks I like are added to the corresponding genre playlist, not the seeded search playlist.
